Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of architectural design principles and a passion for sustainability. You will collaborate on various projects, ensuring that all designs meet our high standards of quality and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare detailed project documentation for approval submissions.
• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure adherence to zoning laws.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Engage with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
• Provide technical expertise during the construction phase.
• Review contractor submissions and ensure compliance with the design.
• Implement sustainable design practices in all projects.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout all project stages.
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• Autodesk Revit
• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Architect
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
