Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Information Security Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have experience in safeguarding information systems and implementing best practices for security assurance. Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in securing organizational data and systems against attacks.
• Perform continuous monitoring of systems for unusual activities.
• Design and enforce security policies in line with governmental regulations.
• Actively participate in cybersecurity incidents and investigations.
• Evaluate cybersecurity tools and recommend improvements.
• Prepare monthly reports on security incidents and trends.
• Foster strong relationships with external security partners.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting information security.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar field
• Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
