Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

Are you passionate about cybersecurity? We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance our team in Cape Town. You'll be responsible for monitoring networks for threats and implementing effective security measures.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and defend against cyber threats.
• Develop incident response strategies and processes.
• Provide technical support during security incidents.
• Research emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
• Implement user access controls to improve security posture.
• Work with stakeholders to enhance security awareness.
• Prepare and present security reports to management.
• Coordinate with external security vendors and service providers.
• Review and update disaster recovery and incident response plans.
• Advise on cybersecurity matters during project development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certifications such as CEH or CISA are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in information security

• Penetration Testing

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Languages
