Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee various construction projects in the heart of Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing project timelines, budgets, and teams to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kick-off meetings and maintain ongoing communication with teams.
• Use project management software to track and report on project progress.
• Engage with local authorities for project approvals and compliance.
• Prepare regular updates and presentations for stakeholders.
• Manage project financing and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
• Develop strategies for resource allocation and utilization.
• Review and analyze project performance data for improvement.
• Facilitate conflict resolution within project teams to maintain harmony.
• Ensure all project activities are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Contribute to post-project assessments and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in project management with a focus on construction projects

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate
• Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software: Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
