Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will evaluate insurance applications, assess risk factors, and determine appropriate coverage. You will work closely with clients and brokers to ensure accurate and fair underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance applications and perform risk assessments.
• Determine policy terms and conditions for clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client inquiries.
• Collaborate with underwriting team to improve processes.
• Conduct regular reviews of existing policies to ensure adequacy.
• Develop ongoing relationship with brokers to streamline underwriting process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in underwriting or related field

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with insurance software: Experience with underwriting software to streamline the underwriting process.
