Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, design, and implementation of civil engineering infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget, while complying with all regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from conception through to completion.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering designs.
• Ensure all engineering work adheres to relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Develop relationships with clients and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Coordinate with municipal authorities for permits and compliance.
• Supervise contractors and construction workers on-site.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is an added advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering or related field

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
