Responsibilities

• Supervise children's activities and ensure their safety.
• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Work with families to address children's individual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of children's activities.
• Encourage play and learning through structured activities.
• Assist in managing behavioral challenges with empathy.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the childcare program.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all children.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Childcare or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Education is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working as a childcare provider

Technical Skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Fluent in Afrikaans: Proficiency in Afrikaans to communicate with diverse families.
