Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and mental capabilities and design suitable interventions.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to provide holistic care.
• Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed to encourage peer support and interaction.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness awareness.
• Develop and lead workshops or training sessions for staff related to occupational therapy practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy areas are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in paediatric or geriatric therapy preferred

Certifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
