Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Johannesburg, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues to ensure that our IT systems run smoothly. This role is vital in maintaining our operational efficiency and providing support to our team members. You'll work closely with various departments to deliver exceptional IT assistance and contribute to larger IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support queries from staff promptly.
• Perform regular maintenance on computers and IT systems.
• Collaborate with the IT team on technology upgrade projects.
• Implement security measures to protect data and IT systems.
• Provide training and support to users on new technology.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support roles
