Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Navy Material Inspector to join our team. As a Navy Material Inspector, your main responsibility will be to inspect and ensure the quality and compliance of materials used in naval operations, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections to assess the quality of materials procured for naval operations.
  • Ensure materials meet safety and compliance standards set forth by the organization.
  • Document findings and coordinate necessary corrective actions with relevant teams.
  • Lead regular audits and training sessions related to material handling and inspections.
  • Support the procurement team by providing expert advice on material specifications.
  • Implement best practices for material inspection and maintain a high standard of quality control.
  • Assist with the development of inspection processes and protocols.
  • Foster a culture of safety and attention to detail within the team.
  • Review and analyse inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure compliance with material specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional technical certifications or qualifications advantageous
Experience
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an advantage.
