Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. This role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits on financial statements and accounting records.
• Assess compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with team members and finance departments of clients.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings.
• Identify areas in need of improvement and suggest solutions.
• Ensure timely completion of audits and related tasks.
• Keep abreast of the latest auditing standards.
• Assist clients in implementing recommendations from audit findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in auditing or financial analysis
