Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of civil engineering projects from conception through to construction. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing infrastructure and prepare improvement plans.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists to ensure sustainability.
• Prepare proposals and project bids.
• Utilise CAD software to create detailed designs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report on findings.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance.
• Engage with community stakeholders to address concerns.
• Document all project phases and outcomes for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering

Technical Skills

• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
