Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with law and ethics.
• Support clinical services through medication counseling and therapy monitoring.
• Help train and mentor junior pharmacy staff and interns.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and training.
• Engage in patient follow-ups to ensure therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
• Address patient concerns and resolve any issues related to pharmacy services.
• Document all interactions and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Specialization in Clinical Pharmacy valued

Experience

• 3+ years in retail or hospital pharmacy

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
