Job Description

As a Meter Maker, you will be responsible for creating and testing meters utilized across diverse sectors. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure meters meet stringent quality standards and functional requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and skilled in both assembly and electrical testing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble meters per provided technical drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct functional tests on meters to verify accuracy.
  • Document all testing results and report discrepancies.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of faulty meters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain an organized work area and ensure tools are properly stored.
  • Participate in safety inspections and training sessions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production line.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to address client queries.
  • Provide feedback to management about production efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Apprenticeship or on-the-job training preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in meter making or related field.
