As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting workplace safety within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting safety audits, implementing safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and campaigns to foster a safety-focused culture.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and training.
• Identify and assess safety risks in the workplace.
• Monitor compliance with safety protocols during operations.
• Develop safety performance metrics and benchmarks.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies regarding health and safety matters.
• Educate employees on fire safety and emergency preparedness.
• Conduct regular checks on safety equipment and first aid kits.
• Provide support during health & safety inspections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a safety role

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages
