Job Description

We are seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our vibrant team in Pretoria. This role involves creating detailed architectural drawings and plans under the leadership of senior architects. The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD and a keen eye for design, important as you will be involved in developing concepts for various commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Work closely with architects to refine designs and ensure accuracy in drafting.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Assist in creating 3D models and visual presentations of projects.
• Collaborate with contractors and engineers during the construction phase to address any issues.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for projects.
• Update and revise plans based on client feedback and project needs.
• Participate in design meetings to contribute ideas and solutions.
• Research materials and products to inform design choices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant architectural experience
