Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet all structural and safety standards. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to generate comprehensive designs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Operations Manager and assist in daily operational tasks.
• Work on cross-functional teams to drive efficiency initiatives.
• Conduct cost analysis for project proposals.
• Facilitate workshops on operational best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of all engineering processes.
• Research emerging technologies in industrial processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years experience in industrial engineering roles

Technical Skills

• CAD Software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Statistical Process Control

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
