Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet all structural and safety standards. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to generate comprehensive designs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve production processes for efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement process control systems.
• Conduct time and motion studies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for ISO compliance.
• Train employees on new processes and systems.
• Utilize statistical tools to troubleshoot problems.
• Monitor and report on KPIs to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years experience in industrial engineering roles

Technical Skills

• CAD Software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Statistical Process Control

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
