Job Description

As a Police Training Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading training programs for law enforcement personnel, enhancing their skills and knowledge to ensure effective policing. This role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of current policing methods and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training curricula for recruits.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of training programs.
  • Advocate for continuous professional development within the force.
  • Engage in public speaking to raise awareness about policing issues.
  • Utilize technology and innovative approaches in training sessions.
  • Provide mentorship to newly appointed training instructors.
  • Collaborate with other public safety organizations for knowledge exchange.
  • Facilitate scenario-based training exercises.
  • Encourage diversity and inclusion in training approaches.
  • Review advancements in policing for incorporation into training.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Law Enforcement or related discipline
  • Advanced qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in law enforcement with a focus on training
