We seek a passionate Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet safety standards and are delivered on time. This is an opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of the Eastern Cape region.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and implementation of infrastructure projects.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times.
• Conduct site evaluations and prepare assessment reports.
• Facilitate meetings with clients and present project proposals.
• Collaborate with local government and regulatory agencies.
• Assist in the training and development of junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Soil Mechanics

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Proficiency in GIS software: Experience using Geographic Information Systems for project planning.
• Knowledge of cost estimating software: Familiarity with cost estimation tools and practices.
