We are seeking an IT Support Technician in Pietermaritzburg with a passion for technology and helping others. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and assist in the administration of IT systems.
Responsibilities
Respond to user requests for assistance in a timely manner.
Set up and configure new user workstations.
Perform regular maintenance of IT equipment.
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new IT technologies.
Keep inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
Assist in training staff on new systems and applications.
Develop user manuals and documentation.
Participate in IT projects as needed.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot as necessary.
Requirements
Education
Diploma in IT Support or related field
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred

3+ years of experience in technical support
