Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Dermatologist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating skin conditions, while also providing excellent patient care and education.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and evaluations for skin conditions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage in public health initiatives related to skin health.
• Contribute to the development of departmental protocols and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Dermatology

Experience

• At least 5 years of clinical experience in Dermatology

Technical Skills

• Laser Treatments
• Cosmetic Procedures

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Board Certification in Dermatology
• CPD Points in Dermatology (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatology: Completed fellowship programme in cosmetic dermatology.
• Training in Pediatric Dermatology: Specific training in treating pediatric patients with skin conditions.
