Tax Analyst

Job Description

As a Tax Analyst at Taxation Solutions Inc., you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing tax planning and consulting services. You will work closely with clients to analyze their financial situations, identify opportunities for tax savings, and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Prepare compliance documents and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure aligned tax strategies.
• Resolve tax inquiries and disputes with tax authorities.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and their impact on clients.
• Continuously improve processes and systems related to tax compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a taxation role

Technical Skills

• Tax Research
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification
• Taxation specific certifications such as CTA

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in tax software applications: Experience with tax preparation software such as Draftworx or Caseware.
