Tax Analyst

Job Description

As a Tax Analyst at Taxation Solutions Inc., you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing tax planning and consulting services. You will work closely with clients to analyze their financial situations, identify opportunities for tax savings, and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax training sessions to junior staff and clients.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Evaluate the tax impact of client transactions and strategic decisions.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of tax updates.
• Lead special tax projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a taxation role

Technical Skills

• Tax Research
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification
• Taxation specific certifications such as CTA

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of estate and trust taxation: Knowledge of estate planning and compliance with trust taxation.
• Experience in tax audit preparation: Background in preparing for and managing tax audits.
