UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our creative team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming high-level requirements into interactive designs and developing user-friendly interfaces. You'll collaborate with product managers and developers, visualizing and designing concepts that resonate with our audience. An eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences are essential.

Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality visual designs and ensure they align with clients' branding.
• Establish a user-friendly design language that enhances user engagement across platforms.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive product design.
• Implement feedback loops with users to consistently improve design quality.
• Assist in developing accessibility standards and practices within UX design.
• Utilize analytics to enhance design strategies based on user behavior.
• Oversee the product user interface design from concept through execution.
• Ensure all designs are responsive and adaptable to various devices and resolutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in web applications

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools
• JavaScript (basic understanding)

Certifications

• Certified UX Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent
