Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Regional Planner to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in urban planning, spatial analysis, and community engagement. Your role will involve developing comprehensive plans and policies that contribute to the sustainable growth of our urban spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance with planning regulations.
  • Utilize GIS tools for mapping and spatial analysis.
  • Research urban development concepts and their implications for local communities.

  • Prepare detailed project plans and timelines for execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior planners.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or similar field
  • Master's degree in Urban Development or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in urban planning
