Job Description

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, professional-looking videos that captivate our audiences. You will collaborate closely with directors and producers to ensure a cohesive vision is achieved.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble footage from shoots into polished video projects.
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand vision and objectives.
• Implement color correction and audio mixing techniques.
• Keep track of project deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
• Adapt to client feedback and make necessary revisions.
• Prepare files for distribution, ensuring compatibility with various mediums.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Film Production or Video Editing

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in video editing and post-production

Technical Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with motion graphics: Proficiency in creating animations and graphics within video content.
• Knowledge of sound editing: Familiarity with audio editing software and sound design principles.
