Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Sawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to ensure the efficient operation of our sawing equipment. You will play a critical role in transforming logs into quality lumber while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate sawing machines for optimal performance.
• Monitor cutting processes and adjust machines for precision.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory tracking and management.
• Conduct quality checks on lumber output to meet specifications.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Sawmill Operations preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in wood processing or sawmill operations is a plus.
