Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, developing care plans, and offering health education to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Order necessary lab tests and interpret results.
• Provide a high level of care during routine check-ups.
• Support chronic disease management and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Further training in a specialized area is a plus.

Experience

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Pharmacology

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
