Job Description

As a Cytogenetic Technologist, you will be responsible for examining cell specimens to diagnose diseases such as cancer and genetic abnormalities. You will utilize advanced laboratory techniques while working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in your work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cytogenetic tests to diagnose genetic disorders.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Prepare reports summarizing findings and assist in clinical consultations.
  • Support research initiatives and contribute to publications.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Cytology or a related field
  • Master's degree in Cytogenetics is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience, particularly in cytogenetics.
