Your role will involve performing medical examinations, surgeries, and educating clients on pet health. Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose animal conditions and illnesses.
• Conduct surgical interventions while ensuring patient safety.
• Participate in community health programs and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for pet owners.
• Keep up to date with veterinary technology and techniques.
• Assist in managing inventory and ordering veterinary supplies.
• Promote responsible pet ownership and welfare.
• Document all procedures and treatments accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Specialization in surgery is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a veterinary practice

Certifications

• South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) certification
