Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other infrastructures.
• Prepare detailed structural designs and specifications that meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure structural integrity during the construction process.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
• Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and construction documents.
• Utilize software tools for modeling and analysis of structures.
• Stay updated on building codes and standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on building design.

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software
• AutoCAD and Revit
• Knowledge of Building Codes

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration
• LEED Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent
