Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other infrastructures.
Prepare detailed structural designs and specifications that meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure structural integrity during the construction process.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and construction documents.
Utilize software tools for modeling and analysis of structures.
Stay updated on building codes and standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Master's degree preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on building design.
