Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate General Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing quality medical care, with a strong focus on diagnosing and treating various medical conditions while improving patient health and wellbeing. As a part of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and assess patients' health statuses.
• Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Administer vaccinations and health screenings.
• Coordination of care with specialists and other professionals.
• Follow-up with patients to monitor their progress and recovery.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Actively contribute to a patient-centered environment.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB from a recognized institution
• Fellowship or specialization is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a clinical setting, preferably as a GP

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• Membership with a recognized medical association
