Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Construction Project Manager to lead our projects in Witbank. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in construction, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the planning and execution of construction projects.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Identify and manage project risks proactively.
• Oversee the quality of work delivered by contractors.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication.
• Assist in the selection and evaluation of subcontractors.
• Review and approve project documentation and change orders.
• Implement strategies for continuous improvement on projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in large-scale construction project management

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

• Proficiency in tendering and bidding processes: Skilled in preparing and reviewing tenders for construction contracts.
