Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment and facilities. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy fixing things, we would love to have you on board!

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Identify and rectify issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance procedures and report to management.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers as required.
• Provide support to other departments on technical issues.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or repairs

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HVAC systems: Hands-on experience with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
