State Pilot

Job Description

As a State Pilot, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure transportation of government officials and dignitaries. Your role encompasses conducting pre-flight checks, communicating with air traffic control, and navigating efficient flight routes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations while executing flight operations.
• Evaluate aircraft performance and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for any required repairs.
• Assist in developing training materials for pilot evaluations.
• Conduct test flights on newly equipped aircraft.
• Develop operational plans tailored to diverse flight missions.
• Engage with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Mentor and guide junior pilots through practical experience.
• Review and analyze flight data to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field

Experience

• Experience in VIP or executive aviation is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Aircraft Maintenance Systems

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in international flying: Experience with international regulations and operations.
• Language proficiency in at least one other language: Skill in an additional language enhances communication in diverse environments.
