Job Description

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will provide technical support to ensure smooth IT operations, troubleshoot issues, and assist users with various IT-related challenges. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining our systems and enhancing user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via help desk software, in person, or over the phone.
• Identify and escalate issues to senior staff as needed.
• Participate in IT projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining IT inventory and asset management.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or N+ are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support or related fields

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Hardware Troubleshooting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of scripting languages: Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
