Job Description

As a Tablet Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining tablet processing machines, ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to quality control standards. You must possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures for tablet production.
  • Inspect machinery before and after use to ensure proper functionality.
  • Document production data, including quantities and quality metrics.
  • Assist in the training of junior machine operators.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Certification in tablet processing or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Ability to read technical documents
Soft Skills
  • Flexibility
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Understanding of GMP principles is advantageous.
  • Previous experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS): Hands-on experience with QMS is beneficial.
