We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our talented team in Durban. This role will involve developing and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network security, risk assessment, and compliance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside development teams to integrate security into applications.
• Manage and maintain security tools and technologies.
• Advise management on cybersecurity matters.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops on cybersecurity.
• Assist in the development of incident response plans.
• Evaluate and select security vendors and products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline
• Master's preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on threat detection

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
