Job Description

Health Innovations Ltd. is seeking a Public Health Specialist to drive community health initiatives in Cape Town. The successful candidate will focus on epidemic prevention, health education, and the analysis of health data to develop impactful public health strategies. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to promote health and well-being across communities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance public health framework.
• Conduct effective community education on health-related topics.
• Assess and report on the success of health promotion strategies.
• Standardize protocols for health program implementation.
• Engage in fundraising and grant writing for health projects.
• Foster partnerships with health-related entities.
• Evaluate health programs to ensure they meet objectives.
• Supervise project staff and volunteers in public health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years working with community health programs.

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)
