Airplane Refueler

Job Description

As an Airplane Refueler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of fuel to aircrafts, adhering to all operational standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage fuel delivery schedules and coordinate with the refueling team.
• Keep equipment maintained and conduct regular safety checks.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations during refueling processes.
• Assist in training new staff on operational procedures.
• Document all maintenance activities and report discrepancies immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Airport/Aviation Industry training will be advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience in an aviation or fueling related field is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of fueling equipment and related tools
• Basic computer skills for record keeping

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexibility and adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in hazardous materials handling: Training or certification in hazardous cargo handling, especially fuels.
• Forklift operator certification: Certification to operate forklifts for transporting equipment safely.
