Product Designer

Job Description

You'll be responsible for designing user interfaces, conducting usability tests, and gathering feedback while working hand-in-hand with developers and other designers. Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Implement responsive design strategies to ensure product compatibility across devices.
• Provide input on usability and accessibility standards to enhance user experiences.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from user testing and stakeholder reviews.
• Support the team with design feasibility assessments and prioritization of design tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Product Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Usability Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile methodology: Familiarity with Agile practices and tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of web accessibility standards to optimize user experience.
