DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies and collaboration across development and operations teams, driving efficiencies and automating processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated monitoring solutions for cloud systems.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to refine deployment processes.
• Ensure seamless integration of apps and services into the cloud environment.
• Prepare documentation and assist with training staff on new technologies and processes.
• Work to maintain high availability and reliability of systems.
• Identify and rectify bottlenecks in workflows.
• Support the implementation of new features and updates across platforms.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree is a bonus

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar

• AWS

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
