Job Description

As an Operational Risk Officer, you'll identify, analyze, and mitigate operational risks within our organization. Your role is critical to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing risk management strategies, and engaging with various stakeholders to fortify our risk management framework.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct operational risk assessments and regular audits.
  • Report on risk exposure and recommend appropriate risk responses.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting operational risk.
  • Facilitate communication between departments for effective risk management.
  • Evaluate and improve existing risk management frameworks.
  • Lead incident investigations related to operational risks.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of risk assessments and mitigation measures.
  • Develop risk awareness initiatives to promote a risk-aware culture.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational risk status.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, preferably in the financial sector
