We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with mental health disorders, supporting them through their recovery journey and enhancing their wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient-centered care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress in accordance with treatment plans.
• Provide education on coping strategies and self-care techniques.
• Engage with families to support the emotional needs of patients.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and concerns regarding their treatment.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Nursing is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health nursing

• Therapeutic Communication

Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification in Mental Health Nursing is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
