Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality healthcare to patients and contributing to a proactive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies.
  • Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in community health initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with medical research and practices.
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure holistic patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
