Tax Consultant

Job Description

Join our team as a Tax Consultant where you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive tax services to our clients. You will be expected to analyze tax issues, prepare tax returns, and offer strategic advice for tax planning and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Train junior staff on tax compliance procedures.
• Participate in networking events to promote services.
• Create comprehensive reports summarizing clients’ tax positions.
• Review and recommend improvements to internal tax processes.
• Support clients in optimizing their tax positions through strategic planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consulting and compliance

Certifications

• CIMA or similar qualification
• Chartered Accountant (CA) accreditation is a plus

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of VAT and indirect taxes: Expertise in managing VAT compliance and disputes.
