Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Statistical Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, enabling them to extract valuable insights from large datasets. Candidates should be comfortable using statistical software and programming languages like R or Python, and have a passion for turning data into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to validate data insights.
• Analyze trends and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
• Develop dashboards and tools for ongoing tracking of key metrics.
• Assist in the training and development of junior analysts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
• Engage with external vendors or collaborators as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in statistical analysis

Technical Skills

• Statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS)
• Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
