Shift Electrician

Job Description

The Shift Electrician will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment are maintained and functioning safely. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing various electrical apparatus while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repair work on all electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Lead projects involving the installation of electrical systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and compliance standards.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Prepare and submit reports on electrical work completed.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections.
• Keep updated on new electrical technologies and methods.
• Assist in the implementation of electrical maintenance systems.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance roles.
