We are seeking an Insurance Underwriter to assess risk and determine policy eligibility in our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, contributing to our mission of providing outstanding insurance solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of policy conditions and client requirements.
• Utilize underwriting software tools to assess risk and streamline the process.
• Assist in training new underwriting staff on company policies and procedures.
• Develop relationships with brokers and agents to enhance business partnerships.
• Participate in underwriting audits and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field

Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in underwriting or related roles

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)

Languages

• English: Fluent
