Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Electronics Repairer to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of electrical systems in our powerhouses, substations, and relay setups. This role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will be proactive and adept at problem-solving, ensuring seamless operations across all electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical components in substations.
• Diagnose electrical faults in real-time and resolve issues as they arise.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Document all maintenance activities comprehensively for auditing purposes.
• Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance schedules for reliability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards during all tasks.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship for new maintenance staff.
• Keep abreast of new technologies in electrical engineering and maintenance.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance policies and procedures.
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts and maintenance equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• National Certificate in Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance roles within manufacturing

Languages
