Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will ensure the security of our digital infrastructure and provide strategic guidance on best practices. In this role, you will work closely with our IT team to identify vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and enhance our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Develop incident response plans and manage responses to security incidents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and government agencies during investigations.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions.
• Lead investigations of security incidents and prepare substantial reports.
• Provide guidance on securing cloud environments and infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

Technical Skills

• Security Frameworks (NIST, ISO)
• Penetration Testing

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• CISM
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection laws: Understanding of compliance requirements and data protection regulations.
• Certifications in ethical hacking methodologies: Relevant certifications like CEH or OSCP are advantageous.
